I suggest asking for a room facing the golf course / Mountains on a high floor. I mention the extended stay as this is where I shacked up during the transition between NJ and CA. Updated decor, good size, appointed well enough for an extended stay. The Pechanga Casin and Hotel is the best Casino/ Hotel I have been to, outside of the great ones in Vegas. Not a place for children of any age- from the smokey stale air to the look of destitute on the faces of gambling zombies with their cups full of nickels eyeing the next machine at which to pay their tithe. Again I defend them because I was part of a large group.
If you are looking for you slot machine fix.
The pool bar (offers no longer service) opens late and closes early and does not get the cream of the crop for staffing. Cheap food abound, the pool was like an average baclyarf pool. Like they finally let Ethell design the Cairo in honor of her 75th consecutive year at the nickel slot machine. That being said, Pechenga was all the sad part of Vegas without cool. To their defense they are going through a major renovation m, I understand that includes a new pool. The staff was very nice, pleasant and willing to help.
